At Photocraft, we believe photography is at its best when it is shared. Although we are based in Wallington, our members come from across the local area, including Mitcham, Carshalton, Coulsdon, Purley and even parts of Sussex. Wherever you are travelling from, you will find a warm and friendly group ready to welcome you.

It does not matter whether you take photos on a smartphone, a compact camera or a mirrorless system. What brings us together is the enjoyment of noticing the world and creating images we are proud of. If you are curious about photography, you will fit in straight away. Beginners, improvers and experienced photographers all learn from one another here.

We do run competitions, but they are relaxed, friendly and never the main focus of the club. They are simply enjoyable opportunities to share your work, pick up ideas and receive constructive feedback in a supportive atmosphere. The emphasis is always on encouragement and inspiration, and we welcome the fresh perspectives that visiting judges bring.

We also love getting out with our cameras. With the Sussex coast and central London so close, we often head out together to explore new places and fresh viewpoints. These outings are a big part of what makes Photocraft special, bringing together great locations, shared experiences and plenty of laughter all along the way.
