We met at Carshalton Ponds at 7 pm for a relaxed photo challenge. The idea was simple. Spend a couple of hours exploring the area and see how many items you could spot from our list of twenty. There was no pressure to complete it all. It was just a fun way to get out with our cameras and enjoy being creative together.
The weather treated us well, staying dry throughout the evening. We were lucky with the light too. With sunset at 9.02 pm, we had a lovely warm glow to work with before moving into the soft blue tones of dusk. It gave everyone a chance to try different styles and enjoy the changing atmosphere as the night settled in.
Once we wrapped up, we wandered over to the pub for a relaxed catch up. It was a great chance to chat about what we had found, share ideas, and enjoy a friendly end to the evening.
